Our Chieftain Goat is made from Indian goatskins and has a natural shrunken grain similar to the traditional levant grain. The skins are shaved to 1.0mm and have a typical area range of 0.60-0.70m2 (approximately 6.5 - 7.5ft2). They have an approximate cutting size 65 x 55 cm. Available in grades I, II, and III.

Our fully archival vegetable tanned Chieftain Goat is aniline dyed and has a semi-aniline finish. The surface is finished in a way which makes the leather ideal for finishing with leaf, foil or 'blind' tooling. Chieftain Goat is available in our 15 standard shades with the addition of two special colours, grey and purple
