Journals and periodicals can be case bound into a hard binding, and, if required, we can incorporate the original cover(s) into the case.
Journals and periodicals are still an important resource in many libraries and whilst some are required for a relatively short time, it is essential that many are kept for future reference. Journal binding in linen, or durable, washable buckram, will protect them, yet keep them accessible. Often the articles within need to be photocopied; our sturdy binding allows the book to be opened at for copying.
On request ‘records’ of the styles our clients have chosen are kept; this enables the same, blocking pattern, coloured cloth and other important details, to be available at a later date, so we can match the binding.
Even if journals have previously been bound elsewhere, given a pattern volume, we can provide you with a close facsimile.
